Regional: covering the areas affecting the Contra Costa, Napa, Sonoma, Marin, and Mendocino Counties.
Collaborative: a round table approach to communicating, planning, and documenting the environmental data of the region and the technology to manage it.
Standards:
Environmental Information : Information pertaining to the geography, geology, biology, and ecology of the region as well as data describing the organizations, projects, and people involved in environmental management for the region. This may include spatial data and metadata; reports, proposals, and other documents; contacts and organization descriptions; and communications.
